7 April 2008

CCB, the Peebles-based Business Development and Innovation Consultancy, has linked up with the Aberdeen-based consultancy to offer a range of business services to the Latvian and Lithuanian markets.

CCB has been operating in the Baltic markets for the past six years, and has offices in Riga (Latvia) and Kaunas (Lithuania). The company not only helps UK companies who want to work in the Baltic States, but also offers a range of business development and innovation services to local Baltic companies and institutions.

Roger Thomas, a general manager at Facilitators International LLP, said: "This collaboration with CCB will enable senior management in Latvia and Lithuania to benefit from our existing consultancy and training expertise.  Our focus will be on enhancing innovation and management capabilities in the government and key business sectors. We will share our knowledge and expertise, in particular, on quality, Lean 6 sigma, and process management. We look forward to further developing this successful partnership with CCB."

Charles Cormack, managing director of CCB, said: "I am delighted that Facilitators have decided to work through us in the Baltic markets as their skill set is ideal for our client base. We are currently working with a number of Government departments, municipalities and large local businesses, and we will be offering a range of their services to these clients."

Raimonds Aleksejenko, business development director of CCB Latvia, commented: "This will really strengthen the services we can offer and should also consolidate our position as the foremost innovation consultancy in the Baltic market."
